Here's a preview of the Ethiopian Militia that will be ready in about a week or so.  They will be available in an 8-pack, two of each figure.  There is an Ethiopian noble ("ras") also in the works.  I've been reading the polls and it looks like most people prefer their command figures in a separate pack:  I'll package him up with the other Ethiopian command figures for a command set.

By the way: if you have not voted yet, take a look at the poll on command figures and let your opinion be recorded!

Sun Helmet

Look familiar?  They should--they're the Bersaglieri Infantry without the cock feathers in their sun helmets.  So if you wanted more Italian Infantry but not necessarily Bersaglieri, here they are.

In their shorts and short-sleeved shirts, the infantry could just as well be in tropical kit.  (I've purposely left off the desert goggles.)  In fact, with only a little imagination, they could be almost any khaki-clad troops of the inter-war period: Italians, French in Indochina--even British.

Here are the recently-released Italian Bersaglieri Infantry for the Italian Invasion of Ethiopia.  In this desert uniform, they're also good for other Ialian campaigns in the Horn of Africa and in the Western Desert up to and including World War II.

The three figures on the left are the command figures; those on the right are the infantry pack. Image
